    Hello CobaltDynamique2588,

    So, the way that simple machines like levers and pulleys make work easier is by deacrising the force required to move an object by increasing the distance from where the force is applied. For example, instead of lifting a rock by pulling it without anything else, you put a pulley in between to make it more light.
