    Yes, sugar and water are miscible! If you put sugar in water while mixing them, the sugar will dissolve in the liquid and only one phase will be visible. Therefore, sugar is miscible in water because when they are mixed together, only one phase is visible in the end.

    However, if you saturate the solution, it means you went beyond the miscibility point and there is sugar floating in the solution. Beyond this point, sugar is not miscible in water anymore.
