      Hello!

      To know if a source is credible, you must first make sure that it is objective. Does the author pass judgment without interfering with personal preferences and opinions? There are 8 clues that can help you determine if a text is objective:

      1. Scientific information.
      2. Academic information.
      3. Government information. You will find these kinds of sources on government websites.
      4. Site of recognized organizations. 
      5. Site of a large company.
      6. Presentations of real facts.
      7. Interventions of specialists.
      8. Presentation of arguments, counter-arguments, etc.

      Here are some clues that can tell you that a source is not objective:

      1. Advertising.
      2. Opinion of the author of the site.
      3. Promotion.
      4. Ambiguous information.
      5. Poorly organized text.

      To know if your source is reliable, you can check these points:

      1. The author is identified.

      2. The author can be contacted (by email, phone, etc.).

      3. The author himself is credible (studies, titles, specialties, etc.).

      4. The site offers you references. There is a bibliography with several sources which are themselves credible.

      5. The site has been updated recently. If the text you find on the site is rather old, it is possible that the information reported there is no longer true today. Therefore favors more recent Internet sources.

      6. The site offers you relevant hyperlinks.

      Don't forget that you shouldn't believe everything you find on the Internet. Always use your judgment and check the credibility of information before using it.
