Can we do a filtration to separate all the heterogeneous mixtures?

    First of all, thank you for your question.

    When we talk about filtration, we are thinking of a technique that separates the constituents of a mixture when one of the constituents is under the liquid phase as the other is in the solid phase. Filtration, therefore, separates the constituents of some heterogeneous mixtures but not of all heterogeneous mixtures.
