what does it mean to analyze about the book i read?

do i have to write about how i think too? or just the facts?

Hi Tobio !

When you analyse a book, that means you need to break the story into smaller parts in order to gain a better understanding of it. If you need to analyse your book according to a theme or a character, look for evidence in your book.

When you write an analysis, you need to present the facts but sometimes you can also share your opinion on something. You should follow you teacher's instructions.
