Question de l’élève

Secondaire 2 • 1a

Hello,

I have a question about the indirect object in English.

I know that in French, we have to include the preposition in the indirect object.

(Ex.:

Je parle à Jeanne.

ci: à Jeanne)

However, I am not sure if it is also the case in English. Could you clarify this for me?

Thanks a lot! : D

    Hello ElfeArtistique8959 !

In English, typically, the use of prepositions with indirect objects is not always required.

We have the following document on this topic, but not that the english version is presently being upgraded : )

Hope everything helped, if not, do not hesitate to write us back !
