Question de l’élève

Hello!

I have a question concerning English spelling.

Is there a difference between "realize" and "realise"? If yes, what is it? If not, why is there two different spellings, and which one should I use?

Thank you so much! Alloprof helps me a lot :))

    It's me again !

Realise and realize are two different spellings of the verb.

The spelling varies based on whether you're writing UK or US English. In UK English, realise (with an “s”) is more common. In US English, realize (with a “z”) is the only correct spelling.

Hope it makes more sense now !

    Océane :)
