    First of all, a cell is the basic unit of all living things, whether they are animals or plants.

    The plant cell is then the basic unit of all plant organisms. It is differentiated from the animal cell by a rigid outer membrane called the cell wall (# 9). Also, the presence of a large vacuole (# 4) and chloroplasts (# 13), which contain chlorophyll, the green pigment that participates in photosynthesis.

    As for the animal cell, there are several kinds, such as red blood cells, neurons, muscle cells, etc. It is differentiated by the presence of a one layered cell membrane and a more rounded form unlike the plant cell. You can see these differences in this picture.
