    Hi!

"To drive up" has a few different meanings depending on the context :

Literal driving: To travel by car to a specific location. Example: "We drove up to the cabin for the weekend."

Increase or raise: To cause something to increase, such as prices or costs. Example: "The new tax policy drove up the cost of living."
