Hello;)) I have a question about grade 10 history! Can you please clarify the definition of ancestral land right and the ancestral right for me ? I didn’t really understand the definition given by my textbook.

The ancestral land right is a term used in the Aboriginal rights. It aknowledges that the land originally belonged to Aboriginal and therefore allows them access to it for hunting, fishing, etc.
The territories are legislated by laws such as the Constitution. Their definition varies depending of new laws. Historically, that definition was not always recognized/was altered to benefit colonization activities.
