The 10 Russell Resolutions were sent by London in 1837 in response to the 92 Resolutions of the Patriote Party. All the demands made by the patriots were rejected and a new power was granted to the governor; that of withdrawing money from the budget of the House of Assembly, even if he does not have its consent! These resolutions resulted in the rebellions of the Patriots in 1837 and in 1838.
