To compare figures, we can do it using 3 main aspects: the number of sides, the number of apex and the types of lines.
First of all, we can count the number of sides of the figures. For example, a triangle has 3 sides while a square has 4.
Then we can also count the number of apex. For example, a triangle also has 3 apex, while a square has 4.
Finally, there are linetypes. For example, a square is constructed from several straight lines while a circle is constructed from a curved line.
