Good morning! I also wondered what mechanization was in history. It reminds me of machines, but I would like more details on the causes and consequences of that. Thank you

    Hello to you!

Thank you for using our services: D

To begin with, mechanization is the creation of several new machines to increase agricultural production. It is also encouraged by the government in order to meet market demands!

So there are two main causes for mechanization:

Agricultural schools are opening across Canada. Also, various publications, such as agricultural newspapers and magazines, are set up. This allows the dissemination and sharing of new techniques across the province and better agricultural performance. Existing techniques, such as field drainage or seed selection, are also being improved.

The first phase of industrialization also brought its share of changes in the Canadian agricultural world. The creation of several new machines makes it possible to multiply agricultural production.

Those changes brang consequences such as: diversifying the types of crops, making agriculture more intensive and with more efficient machines.

Do not hesitate if you have other questions, it will be a real pleasure for me to answer you: D
