During the first phase of industrialization, many companies are developing in cities. These industries will need large numbers of workers to ensure production.
At the same time, many Canadians living in the countryside find themselves unemployed due to a lack of good farmland.
Many will therefore choose to leave the countryside to move to the city in order to find a job and therefore a source of income.
