Hi! I am having trouble understanding interpolation and extrapolation.

Also, are there any resources you can send for data management in grade 8 math, like worksheets etc. just to help me for my unit test

      Hi there!

      Thanks for checking in :)

      Here's what I found on our website:

      • Interpolation consists of estimating the value of one of the 2 variables under study using the value of the other variable within the range covered by the sample data.
      • Extrapolation consists of predicting the value of one of the 2 variables under study from the value of the other variable outside the range covered by the sample data.

      As for the exercises, we classified them according to Quebec's grades. I don't really know the equivalent to grade 8, but you may browse in our exercises list:
