Either is used when only one of the two alternatives, things, or people is considered. When the two alternatives are listed, use 'or' between the items.
Use singular verbs after either.
| I can bring either Katie or Julio. | (I can bring Katie or Julio.) |
| She likes either the red pants or the blue dress. | (She likes the pants or the dress.) |
| Either bus is going to Quebec city. | (One bus or the other is going to Quebec city.) |
| Either movie is fine for tonight. | (One movie or the other are fine for tonight.) |
| They can speak either French or Arabic. | (They speak French or Arabic.) |
