Addition is the operation of adding one quantity (or several quantities) to another. The numbers that make up the addition are called terms.
The sum is the result of the operation.
Regrouping
When a ten is obtained after adding 2 digits, place the ones digit of the result below the line, and regroup the ten above the digit in the tens position of the addition. Add the regrouped ten at the same time as the next number.
