Student Question

Secondary II • 8mo.

Hi, I have a question on chemical formulas.

If there is a number in front of the formula, like 8CO, does that mean I have eight CO formulas?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi!

    Thanks for your question.

Yes, if you have a number in front it means that you have 8 CO. You can understand that you have 8 C atoms and 8 O atoms.

I hope that I helped you and don't hesitate to rewrite to us if you need more help.

    Have a good evening!
